Back to our roots

Well I was thinking of my roots, I have to say mine are like the mangroves. It's seems to be a jumbled mess of wriggling directionless roots. But under close inspection it works and works well. There are twists and turns and changes yet sameness. It is stable and it's deep enough to sustain and keep a tight healthy mass. It grows break neck speed. And stays close.
So from a tiny seed this family has become this massive mangrove. Our siblings, and new additions. We will be strong and we will prosper. They wee ones will benefit from the lessons learned for the lean years. We hug trees and do our best to save the planet one small change at a time . We simplify keep our feet planted firmly. Never waver on the BIG stuff. The family stays the course. It all comes together. We all come together. What a grand life. No promises no pledges.. Except one.. Unconditional love forever AMEN!

Blogtember: Facebook

Dear friends can I just say I am sick of your constant self pics! The pursed lips and bathroom shots in front of a mirror. Hello We see the phone! Im so over the sexy self pictures!
I like the positive little things some of you post and the funny little political jabs.
I love seeing some of you grow your own organic fruits and veggie gardens for your families.
The constant minute by minute updates of the everyday lives are a bit disturbing. And face shots over and over. I ate.. I drank.. I slept.. I .. I.. I... Feel.. I don't want to know!
organic gardening, save the planet, save the whales , plant a tree something besides the drool of the day. Don't breed adopt, Be a mentor.. Save a child!

September smoothie challenge

Follow my blog with Bloglovin       Today is the last day of the #14septembersmoothie challenge, hosted by heather @pnkfitness. What a great idea this was to challenge ourselves in this way!  Giving us a taste of what it's like to feel so good.  I know I am even more determined to stick with my decision to take charge of my health and that of my sweet boy. I have had some great smoothies, can't say I didn't like any of them. Made discoveries of different combinations. And creative ways to get greens and fruits in our diet.heather you are inspiring. I also discovered shakeology! My brother Chris started my mother on them. She felt so much better that she wanted me to try them. I have to say it is an amazing shake, just has great things in there.
I plan on keeping smoothies as a regular routine now. Thank you heather over @ www.pinkaholicfitness.com

Shakeology personal review

I want to start by saying I'm not getting paid for this review.  everything here is my personal opinion from my personal experience. I don't work for shakeology.
After only a week and a few shakes later, I can honestly say I LOVE this stuff! It's light,no heavy bloat feeling, the taste of the vanilla isn't terrible there is a slight after taste. I feel great, have more energy, don't need coffee, I stay full and satisfied longer.
It is kinda pricy but you get what you pay for, I would HIGHLY recommend shakeology, wanna know more go here or here

Blogtember & welcome

Welcome

I hope you all don't judge me harshly if my grammar or punctuation is off. Please be nice:-)

Ok I'm ready to do this but I'm not quit sure how! So I'm just gonna jump in and kinda gonna be all over the place for awhile.
I read on one of my favorite blogs by jenni, she is hosting  blogtember challenge and thought that would be a fun way to start.
I am just jumping right in So here I go!

Tuesday, Sept. 3: Describe where or what you come from. The people, the places, and/or the factors that make up who you are.

9 months after I was born my dad left our family. I was born with spina bifida and had an older sister and two older brothers. At that point. Life went on.. Hard times, mom alone with 4 youngsters. Remarried and gave us another beautiful brother and another beautiful sister more hard times, but so much love ! We have fond memories and missed out on nothing! My mom, even though money was tight back then still tried to get organic when possible, healthy choices she even went without herself at times so we could have the best.
Then my youngest  beautiful sister was born and man what a little ball of fire she was.
Fast forward to a few years ago. My youngest brother and his wife had a baby. A precious boy. Drama with them split them up and we have had that sweet baby from day one! Then at 4 weeks old we started caring for his cousin a sweet baby girl.. That was three years ago! We then miracles of miracles an acquaintance knew of a girl that couldn't care for her baby she was pregnant with and we adopted him. So we now have three youngsters, the youngest is my boy. His birth mom was a meth addict. So now here I go.. I am determined to be the best momma I can be and face the challenges that we will inevitably face. I am in a wheel chair, he has his challenges, We  are a great pair! His nervous system is compromised a bit. He's beautiful and sweet and smart and funny and he's MINE :-) I plan to give him all organic food, just as momma did. research everything I can do for him to help his little nervous system.
When he's in school I plan to be a class room mom! I want to do it all.

Ta ta for now chelsea and Greyson!
